Welcome
Conserving the rainforests of Borneo through Exploration, Research, Education, and Empowerment
The Heart of Borneo Rainforest is one of the most important and least studied ecosystems on earth, but it's disappearing at an alarming rate.
We work to protect this rainforest from futher destruction for the benefit of its inhabitants - both people and animals - and the wider world through a mixture of exploration, research, community projects and education.
Our main approach is to use multidisciplinary, interactive research expeditions into unstudied or data-deficient areas to produce scientific data, involve and empower local communities, and engage with national and international audiences via live multimedia updates and live links.
Please explore our site to find out more, and get in touch if you think you can help us achieve our goals.
